Who this policy covers

This policy explains what Tustin Plumbing Line does with information about the people who call us or visit this website. Tustin Plumbing Line is a referral service that connects homeowners and businesses with independent local plumbing professionals. Where this policy says “we” or “us” it means Tustin Plumbing Line. The independent contractors who carry out work at your property handle their own records and their own privacy practices, and you should ask them directly about those.

Information we collect

We collect very little, because there is no form on this site and no account to create.

• What you tell us on the phone. Your name, phone number, service address, and a description of the plumbing problem. If you ask us to book work, we may also note access details such as a gate code or a preferred time window.
• Call records. Our phone provider logs the calling number, the time and the duration of each call. Where calls are monitored or recorded for quality or training, you will be told at the start of the call.
• Standard website data. Our hosting provider records the usual technical details of a page request, including IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages viewed.
• Analytics and advertising measurement. If analytics or call-tracking tools are active on this site, they may set cookies or similar identifiers to tell us which pages and which advertising sources lead to calls.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, bank details, government identifiers or health information. Any payment for work is handled between you and the contractor who performs it.

How we use it

• To answer your call, understand the problem and dispatch a suitable independent contractor.
• To pass the details a contractor needs in order to attend, quote and complete the job.
• To follow up about a job you called us about, including scheduling and any revised estimate.
• To keep basic business records, resolve disputes and meet legal or insurance obligations.
• To understand which pages and which advertising sources produce calls, so we can spend sensibly.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

Your details are shared with the independent contractor assigned to your job, because they cannot attend without them. We also use service providers who operate parts of our business on our behalf, such as telephony, call tracking, hosting and analytics providers, and they may only use the information to provide that service to us. We will disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the safety of a person or property.

Calls and text messages

When you call us, or ask us to call you back, you are consenting to be contacted about that enquiry at the number you used or gave us. We use your number to progress your job, not to run marketing campaigns. If we ever send a text about scheduling, you can stop it by telling us on the phone or replying STOP. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not require cookies to function. Where analytics, call-tracking or advertising measurement tools are in use, they may set cookies or read device identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use your browser or operating system privacy controls to limit tracking. Doing so will not stop you using this site or calling us. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where our tools support them.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense those terms are used in that legislation.

You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will need proof of their authority.

How long we keep it

Call notes and job records are kept for as long as we need them to answer questions about the work, meet tax, insurance and legal requirements, and resolve any dispute. Website and analytics data is kept for the shorter periods set by those tools. When we no longer need information, we delete it or aggregate it so it no longer identifies anyone.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can see call records and using reputable providers for telephony and hosting. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet or a telephone network is completely safe.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging work at a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, call us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried in the text.
